L I A R

Once upon a time, beneath the crystal dome,
A young apprentice, far from any home.
His name unspoken, in tales untold,
Under Dimitry's guidance, he began to unfold.

A stranger arrived, with words so sweet,
His name was Michael, a man he'd meet.
He spoke of power, of glory, of might,
Under the starry blanket of the night.

The boy, so naive, listened with delight,
Ensnared by Michael's deceptive flight.
From Dimitry's wisdom, he began to stray,
Lured by the allure of a different way.

Michael, the crafty, led him astray,
Where shadows lurk and demons play.
The boy, once faithful, now filled with deceit,
Betrayed his mentor, in a hasty retreat.

Dimitry, the sage, saw the betrayal,
His heart heavy, beneath the gale.
He knew the lure of the siren's song,
And the pain when right turns wrong.

Only too late, the boy saw his mistake,
His soul filled with regret, his heart began to quake.
He fled towards the mountains, under the icy veil,
His tears frozen, in the biting gale.

In the bitter cold, he sought forgiveness,
Haunted by his past, filled with distress.
The echo of Dimitry's teachings, once so bright,
Now seemed distant, lost in the night.

The terrible truth then dawned upon him,
The 'Michael' he knew, was not the Seraphim.
He was a wolf in sheep's clothing, a deceitful sprite,
Leading him away from the path of light.
